Ms. E. Renée Ingram is the President & CEO of Diversified Enterprises Group, LLC. Ms. Ingram has been an independent business consultant for nonprofit organizations and emerging small businesses within the region with emphasis on information technology and global markets. She is the former chief financial officer for Progressive Majority and the former chief financial officer and chief of administration for America’s Promise – The Alliance for Youth, Inc, a non-profit organization that is focused on the well-being of young people and where she served for seven years.
Ms. Ingram is also the former vice president and treasurer for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), where she was employed for more than ten years. CPB is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the development and assurance of universal access to non-commercial high-quality programming and telecommunications services.
She has also more than seven years of federal government experience with the US Department of Transportation. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization for the US Department of Transportation and served as a small and minority business procurement analyst with the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Ms. Ingram serves on the Board of Trustees for Preservation Virginia and has served on the Board of Trustees for the National Trust for Historic Preservation as well as the Board of Directors for the National Historic Landmark Stewards Association and the DC Preservation League and is founder of the African American Heritage Preservation Foundation in Washington, DC.
Ms. Ingram earned BS degrees in Business Management and Human Resources Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
